Mr. Dipak Agarwal is a visionary entrepreneur and the driving force behind Polstar Fans, a brand that has grown into a respected name in India’s electrical fan industry. Born in 1960 in Chandannagar, West Bengal, into a middle-class family, he was profoundly influenced by the values instilled by his father, Late Shri Fulchand Agarwal—simplicity, integrity, hard work, and ethical conduct—which continue to guide his personal and professional journey. He began his business career in 1977 at Kolkata’s Poddar Court electrical market, starting as a small trader in his family’s electrical goods business. Through years of hands-on experience, he developed a deep understanding of market trends and consumer needs. Recognizing the impact of India’s climatic conditions and the growing demand for better cooling solutions, he envisioned a new generation of high-performance fans. This vision materialized in 1998 with the introduction of advanced high-speed fan technology, developed through extensive research and collaboration with leading technocrats and international partners. With innovations such as aerodynamically balanced blades, robust motors, and aesthetically appealing designs, Polstar Fans carved a niche in the market and set new benchmarks in performance and style. Under Mr. Agarwal’s leadership, the company has built a strong foundation rooted in innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, while maintaining a work culture aligned with international standards. He is a firm believer in ethical corporate governance and has consistently upheld principles of transparency and long-term value creation. Today, carrying forward his legacy and vision, his two sons play pivotal roles in the business. His elder son, Dev Agarwal, stands as his right hand, contributing significantly to strategic growth and operational excellence. His younger son, Ayush Agarwal, complements the leadership as his left hand, bringing fresh perspectives and energy to the organization. Together, they represent the next generation of leadership, strengthening the company’s future while upholding its core values. Mr. Dipak Agarwal’s journey from a small trader to an industry leader is a testament to his resilience, foresight, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
